We respond to emergencies by considering the relevant technical protocols and the needs generated by the situation. We do our job in close cooperation with local authorities and partner organisations.

Our tasks during disasters:

• participating in informing the population
• taking part in the evacuation
• operating shelters
• giving first aid and psychosocial support
• providing food and drink (providing water, tea, cold and hot food)
• supporting damaged buildings
• delivering emergency aid to those affected
• assistance in other activities (filling sandbags, search and rescue, technical rescue, water rescue)
